OddsEdge ("we", "us", "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you create an account or use the Service:

• Email address — used to create your account, send verification and password reset emails, and deliver email alerts you configure.
• Password — stored as a one-way cryptographic hash. We cannot read your password.
• Subscription and billing data — handled directly by Stripe. We store only your Stripe customer ID and subscription ID; we never store full card details.
• Alert preferences — ROI thresholds, sportsbook filters, and notification windows you configure.
• Session data — a session cookie to keep you logged in. This is stored in your browser and expires when you log out.

We do not collect your name, address, phone number, or any payment card information.

2. How We Use Your Information

• To create and manage your account.
• To send transactional emails (verification, password reset, arbitrage alerts you have opted into).
• To process subscription payments through Stripe.
• To maintain security and prevent abuse.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.

3. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services that may process your data:

• Stripe — payment processing. Governed by Stripe's Privacy Policy.
• Microsoft Azure Communication Services — transactional email delivery. Governed by Microsoft's Privacy Statement.
• The Odds API — sports odds data provider. We do not share your personal data with them.

4. Cookies and Sessions

We use a single session cookie to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies. You can disable cookies in your browser, but this will prevent you from logging in.

5. Data Security

We store your data on secured servers with access controls. Passwords are hashed using industry-standard algorithms. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

6. Data Retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Request deletion of your account and associated data.
• Opt out of email alerts at any time through your account settings.
